I must say I find these White Dwarf breakdowns fascinating, especially being the cynic that I am. It is interesting to compare the content percentages to my own WD editions (mostly in the mid 200's) as well as the current publications. Pie charts can be very telling...

I will continue to read as long as you are "permitted" to post them. ;)

I don't know about PDFs as I have the physical issues (which is the real reason for showing images of the covers, to prove I have them and haven't grabbed copies off the net).

I do know that ebay has constant supply of most issues though if you fancied having a real copy.

Actually that £7.20 is for the old legacy models. A bunch of them just got updated to Finecast this month and they all went up from that to around £12.

Luckily the cost per model for plastic troops is less. Usually.

£7.20 for one model now? Blimey. How much were they in 1990? Maybe 40K figures should be included in the consumer price index for calculating inflation...

The models in the latest box are simply amazing. I kind of miss the funky looking plastics from this set though...

If there was a plan to the universe then I'd be on commission and Games Workshop would be printing new copies to meet demand

1st Edition Space Hulk - possibly GW's finest hour? I adored this game and had masses of it, playing the multi-level version was huge fun. Never played any of the re-releases as I knew nothing could compare to those original games, definately a golden age of gaming. Great minis as well, remember fondly the metal Terminator boxed set, 10 figures in a box with a polystyrene inner. Oh, and the Genestealer Patriarch on his throne!
